Online scammers are getting more clever, you maybe a person who is very level headed and does not fall for money making scams, but unfortunately we are all victims at some point.
What is a scam?
A scam is something that is set up to defraud you. It can be to get your personal information, or it can be to sell you something that is not as described.

The most one people will fall for is get rich quick scams. These are tough ones, many cannot be classed as scams because, the webmasters are very careful how they describe the money making opportunity. The only problem with many get rich quick schemes is, the only person getting rich quick is in fact the person who created it, the webmaster.
The only way to avoid get rich quick scams is to always remember, "if something seems to good to be true, it is"
I am not saying that all money making opportunities are scams, far from it, all I will say is that to get rich or make a decent amount of money online, takes time.
How do I know if a money making opportunity is legit?
Use Google search and forums, to check out if anyone has reviewed them.
If you want to get rich from the internet, then you have to do create a niche and be exceptional at it. If you want to get involved in an existing money making opportunity, then there are lots of earn money for free websites that will help and advise you.
