What is Google AdSense?
Google allows webmasters to place ads across its Google mammoth networks. This is called Google AdWords.
Google will share some of this revenue with you, by allowing you to place these ads on your website. This is called AdSense.
So to recap, AdWords is where you write ads and advertise on other sites and across Google. You pay for every ad click.
AdSense is when you get paid for having other people ads on your website.
How much can you earn with AdSense?
Google will pay you a commission, each time and ad on your website is clicked.
The ads that will be displayed on your website are content targeted.
Targeted ads on your site will mean, that you are more likely to get someone clicking on the ads. If for example your site is all about golf, your visitors wont be interested in hair extension ads.

Here are some ways you can make more money with Google AdSense.
Don't click on he ads yourself, Google are clever and you will get suspended. It is really not worth the risk.
Place the ads above the fold, right in the eye shot of your visitors.
If you are building a website just for AdSense, then make sure you pick a niche, that you know enough about to write quality content.
It is important that you have lots of targeted traffic to your website. I have written articles on how you can achieve this.
